While each country’s entrance rules differ, most individuals must wait 14 days following their second vaccine before traveling overseas to avoid being quarantined.
Spain, Portugal, and Greece, for example, all require UK travellers to provide evidence of vaccination at least 14 days before to departure.
Some countries may allow you to travel without vaccinations, but you’ll have to provide a negative test or face quarantine once you arrive.
Furthermore, certain countries, such as Greece, may accept Covid evidence of recovery provided you can show a positive PCR test result from 30 to 180 days before to travel.
Before traveling, you should carefully verify the entrance criteria of each nation.
Passengers who have been double-jabbed and are entering the UK from an amber list country do not need to be quarantined if they had their jab 14 days or more before to departure.

If you are enrolled with a GP practice in England, you can obtain the pass immediately via the NHS app. After that, you’ll need to log in using your NHS login or create one if you don’t already have one.
You may also request a paper version NHS Covid Pass letter via the NHS website, which will be sent to you as proof of vaccination.
It’s worth noting that the letter may take up to five days to arrive.
It’s usually a good idea to read FCO rules before traveling overseas to make sure you’re following both UK and country-specific regulations.
